Conversion from oil firing to gas firing
When transitioning to gas, significantly lower emissions of NOx and CO are achieved, as well as a reduced noise level compared to traditional oil burners. The burner solutions are supplied with modulating operation and a frequency-controlled motor, which provides even load regulation, lower electrical energy consumption, and stable combustion across the entire output range.
For further optimisation, the plant can be equipped with continuous O₂ regulation. This ensures the correct air excess under varying loads and contributes to high efficiency, reduced fuel consumption, and stable emission values in daily operation.
The use of gas as an energy carrier also offers good opportunities for heat recovery. By installing an economiser in the flue gas system, excess heat can be used for preheating feed water or for other purposes in production. Depending on the operation and load profile, this can result in a reduction in overall energy consumption of typically 8–12 %.
We deliver complete burner and control solutions, including gas trains, measuring equipment, safety systems, and control cabinets with modern PLC-based automation. The systems can be adapted for both new and existing boilers and are designed in accordance with current regulations and standards.
The solutions can be adapted to most types of combustible gases, including propane, natural gas, town gas, and methane, and are designed for industrial steam and hot water applications across a wide power range.
