Offshore Pressure Vessels

General pressure vessels are pressure-bearing steel structures designed for use in offshore process and auxiliary systems. Among other things, the vessels are used as receiving, buffer, expansion, and storage tanks, where reliable operation, high quality and long service life are crucial. The vessels are produced for demanding offshore environments and are dimensioned on a project-specific basis in accordance with current international standards and customer requirements. The design provides robust solutions with proven quality, high mechanical integrity and a low carbon footprint. The pressure vessels can be delivered as standalone units or as an integrated part of a process module. The solutions can also be delivered as complete EPC packages, including engineering, fabrication, assembly, testing, and documentation.

Typical design areas:

  • Diameter: 2000–5000 mm
  • Length / height: 2,500–20,000 mm
  • Wall thickness: 15–40 mm
  • Design pressure: 10–300 bar

The tanks are supplied in carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and 254 SMO / 6Mo, adapted to process medium, corrosion requirements and desired service life.
