After two years as an apprentice in the workshop, Kristian Helleland is fully qualified as an industrial mechanic.

- It has been very good. Lots of varied work and a good working environment. I've had the chance to try most things, says the 19-year-old from Ualand.

When the vocational certificate was in the box, Kristian was offered a permanent job at the workshop in Øyesletta. Of course he agreed to that.

- I feel very comfortable here. Tratec Halvorsen is a company that really bets. It's fun to be part of this, says Kristian.

Welding is the work he likes best in the workshop. In this sense, the job at Tratec Halvorsen should suit him well. Because there is no shortage of welding jobs.

As an apprentice, Kristian has also taken part in a number of travel jobs. Among other things, he has been to Kongsvinger twice with a corporate customer.

- The job there was to weld pipes into tanks. I hope there will be more traveling in the future, says Kristian, who has been the only apprentice in the workshop for the past two years.

The new project manager likes to be on two wheels

He was tired of commuting from Kvinesdal. Now Øystein Øvrebø has found his dream job five minutes' drive from where he lives.
