Jensen, Tellus Kommunikasjon<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 There's a lot going on in the workshop, says foreman Kai Arne Reppen.<\/p>\n<p>Halvorsen shall produce several separate offshore modules. Each module consists of a frame structure, pipes and tanks.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 A major project which will provide work for many in the workshop until October, and which is spot-on for us in terms of expertise. There's a lot of mechanical work and welding. All in all, we're talking about around 900 pipe welds, says project manager Svein Kenneth Krossli.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Both projects\u00a0<\/strong>will need modules for one air dryer and two compressors. In addition, Halvorsen will supply a module for a backup generator.<\/p>\n<p>Each module consists of a frame structure, pipes and tanks, plus various electro-instruments and valves.<\/p>\n<p>The customer will assemble the modules themselves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 REMOVE VI<\/strong>\u00a0are to be produced together, but we are not the ones who will be assembling them. We will be delivering \u00abbits and pieces,\u00bb says Krossli.<\/p>\n<p>Halvorsen is one of around 200 supplier companies in Norway that will contribute directly to the two next major developments on the Norwegian continental shelf \u2013 Yggdrasil and Valhall PWP-Fenris.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 165 billion Norwegian kroner is to be invested.
