The module was dismantled last winter and transported in parts to the workshop in Kvinesdal.
It has undergone an extensive upgrade. It is now ready and certified for another 25 years in the North Sea.

THE PROJECT SUITS perfectly into Halvorsen's commitment to extending the lifespan of boilers, pressure vessels, and systems for water heat recovery and water treatment.
– Soon the module will be transported down to the quay and loaded aboard a boat that will take it on to the customer, says John Vester Nielsen, Head of Fabrication at Halvorsen.

– It first needs to be lifted from the cargo ship and onto land, and from there into the production vessel. So, in total, we're talking about three lifts, says Nielsen.
It is the uneven weight distribution on the module that makes it necessary to create this unique lifting arrangement. Because when the behemoth is lowered, it is important that it hits the base simultaneously on all corners.
– THERE IS A LOT engineering work goes in. Every corner of the skid is jacked up and weighed with load cells three times. Then the lifting arrangement is constructed based on the measurements taken, says Nielsen.
What happens to the construction after the process module is lifted back into place is uncertain.
– It's down to the customer. The module is going to be on the installation for the next 25 years, so hopefully there won't be any need for further lifting for a while once it's installed on board, says Nielsen.

Only minor adjustments remain before the page can be shipped out from the workshop.
