Signed agreement with Veolia

Halvorsen will collaborate with a global giant on the development and production of water treatment equipment.

With over 171,000 employees, Veolia Group is a world leader in sustainable solutions for water supply, wastewater and energy.

The collaboration agreement has been formally entered into with VWS Westgarth, which is part of Veolia Water Technologies.

– Will strengthen us
VWS Westgarth and Halvorsenaim to combine Veolia's technology with Halvorsen's expertise in design and construction. The market focus will be on the Norwegian continental shelf, and the agreement commits the parties to jointly develop and improve customers' water treatment plants.

– The agreement will strengthen us in terms of design, construction, maintenance, service and monitoring. We are really looking forward to the collaboration, which we believe our customers will benefit greatly from, says Kjell Vidar Netland, head of pressure equipment at Halvorsen.

– Formidable partnership
VWS Westgarth is based in the UK and is a world leader in sulphate removal systems. The company has an impressive client list in upstream water treatment.

– This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Halvorsen, and to jointly develop a strong presence on the Norwegian continental shelf as a supplier of upstream offshore water treatment systems. Our combined expertise represents a formidable partnership in this sector, says Dave Sheldrake, Managing Director of VWS Westgarth.
