Tratec Halvorsen has implemented measures in the workplace to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.

"We are following this serious situation closely, and we are continuously adhering to the advice given by the health authorities," says Bjørn Helleren, head of sales and market.

In the administration building on Øyesletta, there will be limited activity going forward. However, much of the operation will go as normal.

- Employees will work from home and be available to customers and others via email and telephone. We meet Skype meetings, says Helleren.

In the workshop, work on the largest and most important projects will continue to run, but staffing will be somewhat reduced.

- Extra hygiene measures have been implemented, and those working in the workshop will keep a safe distance to each other, says Helleren.

The Directorate of Health has adopted comprehensive measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. But, according to the NHO, no measures are currently being introduced that indicate the closure or cessation of private activity, with some specific exceptions.
