 - I am really looking forward to getting started, says the 57-year-old - who grew up in Moi, but has lived in Flekkefjord since 1991.

The employment of Nyland is part of a new strategy at Tratec Halvorsen, which involves an increased focus on the international market for temperature- and pressure-sensitive equipment.

Bjørn Tore has worked internationally with sales and marketing for several Norwegian companies.

- With his extensive experience and good relationships from the international market, Bjørn Tore will be important in our further venture, says Bjørn Helleren, head of sales and marketing at Tratec Halvorsen, and adds:

- In the coming years, we will be involved in several large projects on the Norwegian continental shelf, including for Equinor and Aker BP. But in the slightly longer term, we believe that much of the development activity for our products will be international. We want to be part of that, and it is important that we already work on positioning ourselves, says Helleren.

Bjørn Tore Nyland will be part of the sales team at Tratec Halvorsen.
